5 Year Plant Guarantee

At Coletta & Tyson, we take pride in the quality of our plants.

That’s why we offer a 5 year guarantee on all hardy, container-grown plants.

What’s Covered

Our guarantee applies to hardy plants that are suitable for growing outdoors in a normal UK climate and have been bought in-store.

This includes trees, shrubs and other hardy nursery stock.

What’s Not Covered

The guarantee does not apply to:

·        Bedding plants

·        Houseplants

·        Half-hardy plants

·        Short-lived perennials with a natural lifespan of less than five years

If you’re unsure whether a plant is covered, our team will be happy to advise.

How It Works

If your plant fails to thrive despite being cared for appropriately, we will:

·        Replace the plant, or

·        Offer a credit note

To process a claim, we’ll need:

·        The original receipt

·        The plant

Caring for Your Plant

We’re always happy to help you get the best from your plants.

If something doesn’t look right, we recommend speaking to our plant team as soon as possible — often issues can be resolved early.

When the Guarantee May Not Apply

The guarantee does not cover plants that fail due to:

·        Physical damage (e.g. strimmers, lawnmowers, animal damage)

·        Lack of care (e.g. insufficient watering)

·        Extreme weather conditions beyond normal UK climate

A Note on Plant Lifespan

Some plants naturally have a shorter lifespan.

Where this is the case, the guarantee applies for the expected life of the plant rather than the full five years.
