August Plant of the Month: Grasses
Our Plant of the Month is grown by us for you, which means you can benefit from locally grown plants priced competitively.
Grasses - Carex
We have chosen grasses to be our Plant of the Month for August and want to talk in particularly about the Carex variety. These grass-like plants are grown mainly for their typically evergreen leaves, which combine well with other ornamental grasses and are used in robust summer-flowering perennials. The Carex varieties for wet soil can be grown at the edges of ponds to soften the look.
