February is all about being on top of your gardening jobs and preparing for spring, hopefully with the weather improving we will see bulbs appearing & wildlife waking up as light levels & temperatures increase. As the garden comes to life again, it’s time to prune shrubs & climbers, such as Wisteria as well as evergreen hedges.

1. Prepare vegetable beds & sow some veg under cover
2. Chit potato tubers
3. Protect blossom apricots, nectarines & peaches
4. Net fruit & veg crops to keep the birds off

6. Remove dead evergreen grass
7. Prune Wisteria
